LittleLine ("we", "us", "our") operates littlelinekids.com, the LittleLine app, and all related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Who This Policy Covers

LittleLine is a service used by parents and guardians to manage a home phone for their child. Parents and guardians create and manage accounts. We collect limited information about children only as necessary to provide the service (such as a first name and age), and this information is controlled entirely by the parent or guardian.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: Your name, email address, and password when you create an account.

Child profile information: Your child's first name, last name (optional), and age, provided by you when setting up a LittleLine phone.

Call history: Records of calls made and received on your child's LittleLine phone, including time, duration, and which contact was called.

Contacts: The names and LittleLine numbers of contacts you approve for your child to call.

Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.

Device information: IP address, device type, and browser information when you use the app or website.

Order information: Purchase details when you buy a LittleLine adapter through our store.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and operate the LittleLine service
  • Process payments and fulfil orders
  • Send account-related emails (activation, receipts, trial reminders)
  • Provide customer support
  • Improve and maintain our services
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. Children's Privacy

LittleLine stores limited information about children (first name, age, call history) solely to provide the service to their parent or guardian. We do not use children's information for advertising or share it with third parties for marketing purposes. Parents and guardians may request deletion of their child's data at any time by contacting us or removing the phone from their account.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Call history is retained for 12 months. When you delete your account or remove a phone, associated data is permanently deleted.

7. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@littlelinekids.com.

8. Security

We use industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect your data. Your password is stored as a one-way hash and is never accessible to us.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email.
